NOVEMBER — “Lawn Recovery Month”

NOVEMBER — “Lawn Recovery Month”

NOVEMBER — “Lawn Recovery Month”

Cooler Weather = Stronger Roots 🍂

This November has brought lower rainfall and drier air, which can stress turf even as temperatures cool. Lawns may show signs of drought stress, uneven color, and slower recovery when moisture is limited.

At the same time, as temperatures drop and growth slows, your lawn is finally getting a much-needed break from summer heat and insect pressure. November is when turf begins stabilizing, strengthening its roots, and preparing for the cooler months ahead—but it still needs consistent moisture to recover properly.

Signs You May Notice:
– Dry or crispy patches
– Pale or uneven color
– Slower growth from lack of moisture
– Weeds competing in weakened areas– Slight color fading
– Slower growth
– Winter weeds
– Areas still recovering from summer

What We Are Focusing on This Month:
✔ Monitoring drought stress throughout the lawn. Don’t forget you see the lawn more often than we do! Watch For: folding leaf blades, if you see this, WATER!
✔ Notifying you of watering needs and dry areas
✔ Spot-treating weeds taking advantage of cooler temperatures
✔ Strengthening roots to help the lawn handle ongoing dryness

Consistent watering—even in cooler weather—helps protect the lawn during this unusually dry November. We’ll guide you every step of the way, check out our website for coverage recommendations!
